I welcome unsolicited PR, ideas for guest posts, and love notes from my secret admirers. The hate mail, not so much, but who am I to reject the attention? Please send all these items to

You can also reach me on Twitter.
My physical address is:
Jeremy Hatch
2912 Diamond St #229
San Francisco, CA 94131
In case it isn’t obvious by now, this is the website of a San Francisco-based writer. If you are looking for Jeremy Hatch, the Vancouver-based ceramics artist, his website is here. (And I should mention, my namesake does some pretty cool sculpture.)
F.A.Q.
Did you create this beautiful site all by yourself?
God, no. If I had, it’d probably look like this. Or maybe this.
Fortunately, this site was designed and coded by people with actual talent and ability: the wonderful folks over at Soro Design.
Also, it runs on WordPress and is hosted by MediaLayer. Not that you asked. But that was going to be your next question. I could tell.
Do you use a Creative Commons license for your work?
Yes, I do. All of my original work on this site is hereby released under an Attribution-Share Alike license. However, many of the posts here consist almost entirely of extensive quotations from sources that may not be so licensed.
Which brings up another subject. In the past year, I have falsely (and I imagine, inadvertently) been given credit for original work by Merlin Mann, Kevin Kelly, and others. Nobody likes this. The people with actual talent have had their attribution stolen, and it looks for all the world like I’m the one trying to steal it.
I know you mean well, and you’re just pressed for time, but if I may: when drawing upon my posts, please take care to give credit where credit is due, and to not falsely attribute to me the work of others.
Thank you for being cool.
